Sienna Spiro is holding onto the top spot in the UK, with Great Expectation spending a second consecutive week at No. 1 on the Official Singles Chart.
Billboard noted the latest chart result as the 20-year-old British singer-songwriter continued a breakthrough run that has steadily gathered momentum. Great Expectation first reached No. 1 in September after climbing from No. 2, giving Spiro her first UK chart-topper.
The song was released in July and appears on her debut album, Visitor. Written by Spiro with Omer Fedi and Michael Pollack, the track combines piano, strings and a restrained pop arrangement built around her vocals.
Spiro’s first week at No. 1 also made her the youngest British female artist to top the UK singles chart since 2014.
Elsewhere on the latest chart, Ella Langley’s Choosin’ Texas remains at No. 2, while Movin’ to the Sun by HUGEL, Imael Angel and Ultra Naté holds the No. 3 position.
